Many difficulties for BSP before UP assembly elections…
The bharatiya janata party got 48 seats in the delhi assembly elections. aam aadmi party got 22 seats. Other parties including congress had to face defeat and got 0 seats. Bahujan Samaj party also tried its luck in this election but the result was zero. When mayawati issued the first statement regarding this, she blamed AAP for this. BSP contested 68 out of 70 seats in Delhi.
In the capital delhi, Mayawati-led BSP tried to woo its core Jatav Dalit voters, but this effort could not get them victory in the delhi Assembly. In this assembly election, BSP got 0.58% votes, which is less than the votes received in the year 2020. The big setback for BSP is that its vote percentage was less than that of All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), which contested elections in delhi for the first time. AIMIM got 0.77 percent votes. BSP's condition was equal to NOTA. NOTA got 0.58 percent votes.
This result is not pleasant for both mayawati and BSP. party leader and Mayawati's nephew akash Anand was given the responsibility of delhi elections and he also held rallies at many places. However, its effect was not seen.
Better situation for BSP only on this seat!
BSP got a total of 55,066 votes on 68 seats, that is, the party got an average of 809 votes on each seat. BSP's best performance was seen in Vikaspuri, where the party's candidate got 2,642 votes. In Gokalpur, a seat reserved for Scheduled Castes, BSP candidate got 2,562 votes. One good thing for BSP in delhi assembly elections was that the vote share of the party was more than azad Samaj party (Kanshi Ram) in 10 seats- Vikaspuri, Sangam Vihar, Kiradi, Chhatarpur, Rohtas nagar and Laxmi nagar, Seemapuri, Kondli, Ambedkar nagar and patel Nagar. The head of azad Samaj party is Chandrashekhar azad, mp from Nagina in UP. He is trying hard to make a dent in BSP's vote bank in UP.
