Caution! There will be no water supply in these areas…

There is a possibility of water supply being disrupted for 2 days due to connecting the water pipeline in Palla area of Delhi. Keeping this in mind, delhi Jal Board (DJB) has informed the people about this 5 days in advance. So that people can make arrangements for water shortage in time. In such a situation, to avoid water shortage on 20th and 21st february, DJB has advised people to store water in advance.

Actually, the work of connecting the newly constructed 900 mm and 1500 mm diameter pipeline in Palla of the national capital is to be done by delhi Jal Board (DJB). This work will take about 24 hours. It will start from the evening of 20th february which will continue till the morning of 21st February. Due to this, water supply will be disrupted in many areas of outer-north delhi in these two days. In such a situation, possible inconvenience can be avoided by storing water. However, if needed, water can be supplied by delhi Jal Board through tankers.

Water supply will be disrupted in these areas

According to the information received from delhi Jal Board, due to this interconnection work, the areas where water supply will be disrupted from the evening of 20 february to the morning of 21 january include Bakhtawarpur, Jhangola, Tigipur, Kushak No. 111, Mohammadpur, Ramzanpur, Singhu, Palla, Tajpur, Akbarpur Majra, Alipur, Jindpur, Bakoli, Khampur, Budhpur, Hamidpur village, Holambi Kalan, Kheda Kalan, Kheda Khurd, Naya Bans, Mamurpur, Pana Udyan (Paposia Narela), V-A colonies of Narela.

According to the Jal Board, water supply will also be disrupted in Narela's regular colonies, JJ Cluster Narela, DDA area Narela, Narela Industrial Area, Metro vihar Phase-1 and 2, Nangli Poona village, Kadipur village, Mukhamelpur village, Ibrahimpur village, Sant Nagar, Burari, Sanjay gandhi Transport Nagar, Samaypur village, Badli village, Libaspur and Siraspur village.

Do these things to avoid water shortage

Delhi Jal Board said that as a precaution, people have been asked to store water. There is no need for anyone to worry about water. In case of water shortage in any area, DJB workers will provide water through tankers on demand of the people.
