Security increased at Prayagraj Junction after New delhi accident!
After the New delhi railway station accident, vigilance has also been increased at Prayagraj Junction Railway Station. There was a huge crowd at Prayagraj railway station today. Due to heavy crowd gathering at the railway station, devotees are no longer being allowed to enter the Prayagraj Junction premises, all the roads leading to the railway station have been completely blocked.
Devotees who have come to bathe in the maha Kumbh are not being allowed to go towards the railway station even on foot. All the devotees coming to maha Kumbh who want to go to the railway station are being diverted to Khusro Bagh. Devotees will be allowed to leave from here and go to the station only when the situation at the railway station becomes normal.
Today, about 1.5 crore devotees have taken a dip of faith in the maha Kumbh, due to sunday holiday tomorrow, even more crowd is expected. A large number of devotees are traveling by train, due to heavy crowd gathering, the roads leading to the railway station have been completely blocked for the last few hours.
Devotees are not being allowed to go towards the railway station even on foot, passengers are being asked to gather at Khusro Bagh. Efforts are being made to normalize the situation at the railway station by running some special trains soon. Let us tell you that 120 special trains have been run from eight railway stations of Prayagraj city today on 15 February. Apart from this, 188 routine trains have run, yesterday passengers came and went through 308 trains.
On the delhi railway station accident, DCP Railway KPS Malhotra said, "Two trains are running late and due to the extra rush of passengers, the crowd had become very high. Some people have been injured, the situation is under control at the moment. This situation arose due to heavy crowd in an interval of 15-20 minutes. This happened when a special train was announced and people were trying to catch that train."
