BJP Legislature party meeting may be held in delhi tomorrow!
BJP, which returned to power in delhi after 27 years, is now going to hold a big meeting regarding the selection of CM. According to sources, bjp has called a meeting of the Legislature party on monday (17 February) in which the name of the cm will be decided. All the MLAs have been informed. The meeting will be held in the delhi State Office.
Elections were held in delhi on 5 february and the results came on 8 February. bjp has made a strong comeback in delhi and won 48 out of 70 assembly seats. bjp had not declared any of its cm faces at the time of elections. At the same time, it was believed that after PM Modi's US visit, bjp will announce its cm face. The term of delhi assembly is ending on 23 february, so there is a possibility of swearing-in before that.
Whose name will the leader of the Legislature party approve?
In the last eight days, names ranging from Manjinder Singh Sirsa and rekha Gupta to Pravesh Verma were discussed. In delhi, bjp has received votes from every section, whether it is Jat or Sikh or Purvanchali vote, everyone has expressed their trust in BJP. PM Modi himself had promised cleaning of yamuna in BJP's victory speech.
