The demand for a separate Bundelkhand nation has resurfaced within the Uttar Pradesh assembly. The problem got here at some stage in the advent of six languages, which include Bundelkhandi, to be used in assembly court cases.
Jhansi nagar mla ravi Sharma seized the opportunity to strongly advise for a separate Bundelkhand kingdom.
Sharma raised this demand in the presence of chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the Speaker of the assembly, and several other members. He supplied the longstanding call for a separate Bundelkhand nation speaking inside the Bundeli dialect.
He started his speech by reciting a poem by renowned poet Isuri, "Bundelon ki baat suno Bundelon ki bani mein, panidar ite ko pani, aag ite ke pani mein.". He conveyed the sentiment of the people of Bundelkhand, questioning why they can't form a separate nation given their wonderful way of life, cuisine, and traditions.
The leader minister and other members had been found smiling at this assertion, brought by means of the jhansi mla as a mild rebuke in the local dialect.

Subsequently, bhanu Sahay and Kunwar Satyendrapal Singh championed this cause. Currently, bjp leader Raja Bundela also launched into a yatra, elevating this call for.
