Nawaz told in the interview that it happened many times when he did small roles and then they were edited and removed but one incident that always stays with me is that of my idol Kamal Haasan. I was his hindi dialogue coach in his film Hey Ram, which he directed and kamal haasan was also in the main lead. When Kamal ji offered me a small role in Hey Ram, I was excited like a child. He is one of my idols along with dilip Kumar, Naseeruddin Shah, Anthony Hopkins and Denzel Washington.
Nawaz further said- I have seen every film of his many times. It was an important role. I had to become a victim of mob attack whom Kamal ji saves. I was excited about this opportunity to share screen space with my idol but when the role was removed from the edit, I cried a lot. After that shruti consoled me.
