Maha Kumbh - Whose responsibility is to control the crowd?

The central government has told the parliament that the responsibility of managing the crowd at religious places lies with the state government, urban bodies and temple trusts. The central government has launched several schemes to manage the crowd at religious places. These include Swadesh Darshan, prasad and many other schemes. The government has told that under the prasad scheme, CCTVs, boundary walls have been built by the government to control the crowd. Along with this, many other measures have also been taken.

More than 54 crore people have taken a dip

The flow of devotees coming to the maha Kumbh is not stopping even on normal days and till 6 pm on Monday, 1.23 crore devotees took a dip in the ganga and Sangam. According to the data released by the fair administration, till 6 pm on Monday, 1.23 crore devotees took a bath in the ganga and Sangam, while since january 13, 54.19 crore people have taken a dip in the maha Kumbh.

Meanwhile, on Monday, along with common devotees, many Union Ministers and other dignitaries also took a dip in the Sangam, including Union Labor and Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union minister of State SP Singh Baghel and West bengal governor CV anand Bose. Union minister Mandaviya said, "So far 53 crore people have come here and bathed. Bathing is happening here on such a large scale by the grace of God." Union minister of State SP Singh Baghel said, "Today I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to bathe in the maha Kumbh. This is God's grace and an important moment in life." Baghel also helped in the distribution of prasad being run by ISKCON and adani Group in the maha Kumbh Mela. After bathing in the Sangam, West bengal governor CV anand Bose said, "Mahakumbh is the best example of India's great culture and traditions. It is a matter of pride for all indians that the world's largest crowd is coming here and bathing voluntarily." Rohan Jaitley, son of former finance minister and bjp leader late arun jaitley and president of delhi and district Cricket Association, also took a dip in Sangam with his wife.
