Former cm and AAP convenor arvind kejriwal, acting cm Atishi and congress state president Devendra Yadav have been invited by bjp for the oath taking ceremony in Delhi. It has not been confirmed yet whether these three will attend the program or not. Almost all the preparations have been completed at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan for the oath taking ceremony.
The oath taking ceremony will begin on february 20 at 12.35 pm. Lieutenant governor VK Saxena will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the cm and cabinet members. Many big bjp leaders including PM narendra Modi, CMs of BJP-ruled states will be present in this program. Apart from this, leaders of NDA's constituent parties have also been invited.
Who has been invited?
All nda MPs, religious leaders, RSS leaders, industrialists and celebrities from various fields have also been invited. Apart from these, members of Resident Welfare Association, sanitation workers, people associated with slums have also been invited. 50 thousand people are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony. For this, delhi Police is busy making foolproof security arrangements. Along with this, top officials of delhi Police are also holding a meeting.
kejriwal also took oath at Ramlila Maidan
In 2013, arvind kejriwal took oath at Ramlila Maidan instead of raj Niwas. He took oath as cm all three times from here but Atishi took oath at raj Niwas. This was not the first time that someone took oath outside raj Niwas, before him Sahib Singh Verma of bjp took oath at Chhatrasal Stadium in 1996. At the same time, as soon as the name of the cm was announced in the Legislature party meeting, bjp has made preparations to put up hoardings all over Delhi.
