

AAP's big announcement, Atishi will be the Leader!
A meeting of the aam aadmi party (AAP) Legislature party was held on sunday (23 February), a day before the delhi assembly session begins. It has been decided in the meeting that former chief minister and Kalkaji mla Atishi will be the leader of Opposition. This has been announced by delhi AAP in-charge and babarpur mla Gopal Rai.
Gopal Rai told that Atishi has been elected as the leader of the legislative party in the meeting. Apart from this, there was also a discussion about the agenda of the assembly session. Many big leaders of the party including the party's national convener arvind kejriwal attended the meeting held at the AAP headquarters. Atishi, Jarnail Singh, sanjeev Jha, veer singh Dhingan and Pravesh Ratan along with many other MLAs were also present in the meeting.
AAP MLAs took the decision by consensus
Earlier, in the AAP Legislature party meeting held in delhi, Atishi was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislative party. sandeep Pathak was appointed observer. Now she will play the role of leader of Opposition in the Assembly. sanjeev Jha proposed her name in the legislature party meeting, on which all the MLAs agreed and Atishi was elected leader of Opposition.
Aatishi is as vocal against bjp as before
Former delhi cm Atishi has been elected mla from Kalkaji assembly constituency for the second time. She succeeded in defeating former delhi bjp mp and stalwart leader Ramesh Bidhuri in the assembly elections 2025. While influential leaders like Aam Aadmi Party's national convener arvind kejriwal, manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Satyendra Jain lost the election this time.
Aatishi is speaking out against bjp as vocal as before since the delhi assembly election results came out. She is busy cornering cm Rekha Gupta for not taking a decision on not giving Rs 2500 per month to women in the first cabinet meeting after the formation of bjp government in Delhi. She also wrote a letter to cm Rekha Gupta on Saturday. In her letter, she has also demanded time from the cm to meet the AAP MLA.
