delhi chief minister rekha Gupta today (23 February) participated in an important program of Jain community organized at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka. During this, she took blessings from revered saints and met and interacted with the devotees.
The chief minister said that the principles of non-violence, truth and austerity of jainism strengthen brotherhood and morality in the society. He emphasized that the cultural heritage of delhi has also become more prosperous due to this spirituality and harmony.
He said, "Delhi is a city where there has been a tradition of adopting every religion and culture. The principles of jainism teach us that society can progress only with love and peace."
