Permission sought from ASI for painting of Shahi Jama Masjid…

Zafar Ali, President of Shahi Jama Masjid Committee of sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, has written a letter to the Archaeological survey of india (ASI) seeking permission for painting, painting, cleaning and decoration of Shahi Jama Masjid on the occasion of Ramadan.

Zafar Ali, head of Shahi Jama Masjid, said that this time permission has been sought from ASI for cleaning, painting, painting and decoration of Shahi Jama Masjid, although Shahi Jama Masjid has been painted, painted, cleaned and decorated for hundreds of years. Permission was never sought from ASI and neither did they ever object, nor did they object or protest.

He said that it was considered appropriate to take permission only to maintain peace and harmony in the city. Permission has been sought for painting, painting, cleaning before Ramadan in the holy month of Ramadan. For hundreds of years, cleaning, painting and decoration has been going on in Shahi Jama Masjid on the holy occasion of ramzan, give us orders for that so that we can get all the work of holy ramzan done.

In this case, district Officer Rajendra Pensia says that Shahi Jama Masjid is a protected building under the Archaeological Department of India. Therefore, only the Archaeological Department of india can take a decision in the matter of its painting. Let us tell you that during the survey of Shahi Jama Masjid in sambhal, 4 people were killed and about 28 policemen were injured in the violence on 24 november 2024.
