prime minister narendra modi gave a gift of about Rs 22,000 crore to 10 crore farmers of the country under the 19th installment of the Kisan Samman nidhi Yojana from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Along with this, he also announced many big schemes for Bihar. PM Modi also dedicated 10,000 farmer producer organizations to the nation.

During this time, prime minister narendra modi inaugurated the doubling of Risliganj-Nawada Tilaiya (36.45 km) rail section as well as the Center of Excellence for Indigenous Breeds in Motihari through remote. Along with this, PM Modi also dedicated the Ismailpur-Rafiganj Road Over Bridge to the people. Apart from this, PM narendra modi inaugurated the milk production plant in Barauni.
What is Kisan Samman Nidhi?
Kisan Samman nidhi is a financial assistance given by the government to the farmers of the country. This scheme of the central government was launched in the year 2019. Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 per year is transferred to the bank accounts of farmers in Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months. Its benefits will be available only to those farmer families who have cultivable land up to 2 hectares.
The target of creating 10,000 FPOs in the country has been achieved
While addressing the public in Bhagalpur, PM Modi also mentioned the Farmer producer Organization. He said, "Our government had set a very big target of creating 10,000 FPOs (Farmer producer Organizations) in the country. Today I am happy to tell you that the country has achieved this target. Today the land of bihar is witnessing the formation of the 10,000th FPO.''
