
Talks resumed between india and britain on Free Trade Agreement!
Talks between india and britain started once again on monday regarding a free trade agreement. Due to this, trade between the two countries is expected to double or triple from the current 20 billion US dollars in the next ten years. This was announced by Commerce and industry minister piyush goyal and UK Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds.
The relationship between the two countries will be strengthened
A statement issued after the meeting of the two in New delhi said, Today, the Republic of india and the united kingdom (UK) have resumed talks towards a trade agreement between the two countries. After almost a year, talks have started again between the two countries regarding free trade with mutual consent. This will benefit the economy of both. The statement further said, this will strengthen trade relations. Along with this, opportunities will open up for business and consumers between the two countries and the relationship will become even stronger.
Trade will increase this much in the next 10 years
Later while giving information to the media, piyush goyal said, this agreement will provide huge opportunities to increase our current bilateral trade of 20 billion US dollars possibly by 2-3 times in the next 10 years. When will the talks between the two countries be completed on this? In response to this, the minister said, any good agreement should never be completed 'too early' or 'too late' because the question is about the long term future.
