Barkha Singh's medical documents will be investigated!

Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on monday ordered an investigation into Barkha Singh's medical documents. Barkha Singh is the complainant in a case against former delhi Commission for women chairperson swati Maliwal. The complainant's lawyer had sought exemption from appearing in court on medical grounds. The court was told that Barkha Singh is not in a position to appear to testify. On the lawyer's argument, the court said that the complainant can appear through video conferencing.

The court was told that doctors have advised Barkha Singh to undergo surgery. The lawyer said that Barkha Singh is bedridden. Therefore, she cannot join even through video conferencing. rajya sabha MP swati Maliwal and three others are facing trial in an alleged corruption case. The case is related to alleged irregularities in recruitment in the delhi Commission for women during swati Maliwal's tenure.

Rouse Avenue court gave instructions to the investigating officer

Maliwal and other accused persons appeared through video conferencing. After hearing both the parties, the court directed the investigating officer. The court said that the medical documents presented by Barkha Singh will be verified.

Case against swati Maliwal and three others

Barkha Singh is the complainant and being the complainant, she has to testify in the court. The case is against swati Maliwal, Promila Gupta, sarika Chaudhary and Farheen Malik. The court is recording the prosecution evidence in the case. After the hearing, the court has fixed the next date as march 19. Both the parties will keep an eye on the next hearing on march 19. Before swati Maliwal, Barkha Singh was handling the responsibility of DCW chairperson during the congress government.
