chief minister yogi adityanath, who reached Gorakhpur on tuesday evening on the eve of Mahashivratri, directed the officials to pay special attention to security, convenience and cleanliness on the holy festival of Mahashivratri. With a feeling of security, no devotee should face any inconvenience and there should be no laxity in cleanliness in all Shivalayas and their surrounding areas. He said that special arrangements should be made for the safety of women devotees at Shivalayas, so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.

In a meeting with officials in the meeting room of Gorakhnath temple, cm Yogi said that Mahashivratri is a great festival of worship of Devadhishdev Mahadev. On this great festival, a huge crowd of shiva devotees gathers at all Shivalayas from village to city. In such a situation, special arrangements should be made for their safety, convenience and comfort while respecting their faith. Along with security, there will also be a need to pay attention to traffic management around big Shivalayas. The chief minister directed the police officers that adequate number of police force and traffic police will be deployed to ensure the safety of shiva devotees and smooth traffic system on Mahashivratri. Special arrangements should be made for the safety of women in Shivalayas from city to countryside.

The chief minister said that many temporary shops are set up in front of Shivalayas on Mahashivratri. It has to be kept in mind that no one's business is affected but it is also necessary to ensure that the temporary shops are kept at such a distance so that devotees do not face any problem in going to the temples. cm Yogi directed to fix the accountability of Municipal Corporation for cleanliness around Shivalayas in Gorakhpur Metropolitan area, nagar Panchayats in towns and area and Gram Panchayats for cleanliness around Shivalayas in villages.

During the meeting, the chief minister also reviewed the development works and law and order. He directed to complete the development projects under construction within the stipulated time frame with quality. On this occasion, ADG Dr. KS Pratap, Divisional Commissioner Anil Dhingra, DIG anand Kulkarni, district Magistrate krishna Karunesh, Senior Superintendent of police Dr. Gaurav Grover, Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Singh Sogarwal, GIDA CEO Anuj Malik, GDA Vice President anand Vardhan etc. were present.
