Trivendra Singh Rawat also objected to controversial statement!
There is tremendous political heat in uttarakhand over the controversial statement of Parliamentary Affairs minister Premchand Agarwal. Protests are being held across the state over some of the words used by him and the demand for his resignation has intensified. Former chief minister and Haridwar mp Trivendra Singh Rawat also reacted to this entire controversy. He also termed Premchand Agarwal's statement as highly objectionable and unfortunate.
Trivendra Singh Rawat said, "This type of language is not expected from any responsible person. The anger is natural, the video I saw and heard was completely objectionable. Premchand Agarwal is our Parliamentary Affairs minister, he has been the Speaker of the assembly and has also been an mla many times. In such a situation, no one expected this type of language and conduct from him. No one can justify this.
Trivendra Singh Rawat also demanded an apology
He said that we are all people of uttarakhand and we should maintain the harmony of the state. If some people are further inciting this controversy, then this is also not right. But yes, whatever Premchand Agarwal ji said, I do not think anyone can justify it. He himself must have understood that it is not right, he should apologize for this. However, Premchand Agarwal has already expressed regret in this matter and has also apologized publicly. Actually this controversy started when words like Desi Pahadi came out of Premchand Agarwal's mouth during the assembly session and he also used some other abusive words. After this statement, massive protests started in uttarakhand, especially the people of hill origin, linking it to their identity, started a movement against Premchand Agarwal and demanded his resignation.
Action will be taken against Premchand Agarwal
Now after this statement of former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, BJP's troubles have increased. The pressure on the party to take action against Premchand Agarwal has increased even more. At the same time, bjp is on the backfoot on the whole issue. Political analysts believe that this controversy can also affect the upcoming elections. The politics of hilly and plain areas in uttarakhand has always been sensitive, and such controversies can have an impact on the public base.
