Virendra Sachdeva's big attack, said- MLAs unaware of rights?

The first assembly session after the formation of the new government in delhi will be on february 27. Two days of this 3-day session were quite tumultuous. On the last day, bjp attacked the opposition aam aadmi party and said that till date AAP MLAs have been used only for politics. delhi bjp President Virendra Sachdeva has appealed to the aam aadmi party (AAP) MLAs to understand the constitutional arrangements and contribute to the proper functioning of the delhi Assembly. He said that in the last ten years, the AAP government and the then assembly Speaker had made the assembly a mere political platform by twisting the rules.

Virendra Sachdeva spoke on violation of rules in the Assembly

Virendra Sachdeva said that in the last two days, there was a discussion on the return of Question Hour to Private Member Day in the delhi assembly, which is welcome. He alleged that the proceedings of the assembly under the aam aadmi party government had become a medium of propaganda of the ruling party instead of being transparent and democratic. He said that the MLAs of opposition parties were not even given a chance to present their views. Even many AAP MLAs were unaware of their rights and they did not get the opportunity to raise issues related to the people of delhi in the assembly.

Lesson of anarchy instead of constitution

The bjp state president said, "AAP MLAs were taught the lesson of anarchy and not the constitution in the last 10 years. Now the time has come for them to understand how the assembly and the government are run under the constitutional system." He also said that constitutional procedures were violated by not adjourning the assembly sessions, which affected the functioning of the assembly.

Hope for change in delhi Assembly

Virendra Sachdeva said that now the situation is changing and the MLAs are being informed about their rights. He expressed hope that from now on the assembly will be used not only for political rhetoric but to raise public issues. Let us tell you that this controversy is not new in delhi politics. After coming to power with full majority for the first time in 2015, the aam aadmi party government has been accused of not following the rules in the assembly and suppressing the voice of the opposition. bjp MLAs were also suspended several times.
