Pravesh Verma took charge of PWD department!

After taking charge, Delhi's Public Works Department (PWD) minister Pravesh Sahib Singh held a high-level meeting with the departmental officials. In the meeting, the ongoing infrastructure projects in the capital were reviewed. The minister directed the officials to take immediate action to make the roads of delhi pothole-free, safe and modern.

Instructions to repair roads and speed up projects

The meeting discussed road repair, strengthening traffic safety measures and early completion of pending development projects. The minister said that the projects which are getting delayed should be completed as soon as possible and special attention should be paid to quality, so that the people of delhi can get better facilities.

'Delhi's roads will be world class'

minister Pravesh Sahib Singh said, "We are committed to providing world-class roads to the people of Delhi. Along with good roads, the footpaths will also be improved and the city will be made beautiful and well-organized. Under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi, we will continuously work to make delhi a model city."

Emphasis on improvement of pedestrians and public places

The minister directed the officials to improve facilities for pedestrians along with road improvement works. Special attention will be given to developing the capital's roads, footpaths and public places in accordance with global standards. PWD will work in mission mode and make major changes towards improving urban transport and safety in Delhi.
