A three-member team of ASI reached sambhal Masjid!

As per the order of allahabad high court, a three-member team of Archaeological survey of india (ASI) has gone to Shahi Jama Masjid in sambhal to conduct a survey. The ASI team has reached Shahi Jama Masjid of sambhal to investigate. The high court has directed ASI regarding the demand for painting of Shahi Jama Masjid.

Now the ASI team will prepare its report and submit it in the high court by 10:00 am tomorrow, friday (28 February). After the report is filed, the high court will give its decision regarding painting tomorrow. After the entry of the three-member team of ASI in Shahi Jama Masjid, the gate of Shahi Jama Masjid has been closed and police force is deployed. ASI team is present inside Shahi Jama Masjid.

Let us tell you that the case related to the demand for permission to paint Shahi Jama Masjid of sambhal was heard in allahabad high court today on thursday (27 February). During this hearing, the high court accepted that painting of the mosque is necessary. The court accepted that the work should be started before the month of Ramadan begins, however, the court has sought a report from the ASI on this controversial matter.

The matter was heard in a single bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal. He said that how can the painting work be done without damaging the disputed structure. The high court has sought a report from the ASI regarding this. The matter will be heard again in the high court tomorrow at 10:00 am. The high court will give its decision in tomorrow's hearing itself. On the other hand, the petition of the mosque committee was opposed by the Hindu side. The Hindu side said that the disputed premises can be tampered with in the name of painting.
