Leader of Opposition Atishi will get cm level facilities!
After the departure of aam aadmi party (AAP) from power in delhi, Atishi may have stepped down from the post of chief minister, but there will be no reduction in her salary, allowances and facilities. The reason for this is that the chief minister and the leader of Opposition in delhi get the same salary and allowances.
Atishi was made the chief minister of delhi before the elections after the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal. However, it was already decided that she would leave this post after the elections. If aam aadmi party had won the election, then arvind kejriwal would have returned. But after the defeat of the party and arvind kejriwal, now AAP has to sit in the opposition. In such a situation, the party MLAs chose Atishi as the leader of Opposition. Due to this new role, she will continue to get salary and other government facilities as before.
leader of Opposition gets facilities like Chief Minister
In delhi, both the chief minister and the leader of Opposition are given the same salary and allowances. These include-

● Constituency allowance of Rs 30,000
● Secretarial assistance allowance of Rs 25,000
● Representative allowance of Rs 10,000
Apart from this, other government facilities are also available.
What is the salary system in Delhi?
In the delhi government, the chief minister, leader of Opposition, Deputy Speaker and Ministers get equal salary and allowances. Due to this system, Atishi's change of post will not have any effect on her salary or allowances.
After the spectacular victory of bjp in the elections held on february 5, 2025, the first session of the eighth delhi Legislative assembly is going on. After leader of Opposition Atishi and other AAP MLAs in the delhi assembly were stopped from entering the assembly premises on Thursday, AAP MLAs staged a sit-in outside the premises. On tuesday (February 25), AAP MLAs were suspended from the assembly for disrupting the proceedings of the house during the address of lg VK Saxena.
