Jamaat-e-Islami leader in bangladesh made a big demand!

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General professor Mia Ghulam Parwar reiterated his party's demand to hold free and fair regional government elections before holding general elections in the country before the interim government led by Mohammad Yunus. professor Mia Ghulam raised his party's demand while addressing the Jamaat workers' conference held at Rajbari on friday (28 February) as the chief guest.

Addressing the workers' conference, professor Mia Ghulam said, "If the bangladesh government is really fair and honest, then the election commission can conduct such elections." He requested the officials to announce the date of elections by improving the electoral system within a fixed time frame. Apart from this, to avoid any kind of bloodshed and violence during the elections, he said that before the general elections in the country, all those responsible for fascism, including Sheikh Hasina, should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity in the international Crimes Tribunal.

Bangladesh was in the dark age for the last 16-17 years

Professor Ghulam stressed that justice, reform and regional elections should be completed before the national elections in the country. He said that for the last 16-17 years, bangladesh has gone through an era of darkness, where people did not have the right to vote and where democracy did not exist. He further said, "There is a conspiracy to erase Islamic values and the identity of the country from Bangladesh." professor Mia Ghulam accused the judiciary of being politically motivated and corrupt and said that the country also had to witness looting, ransom, murders and terrorism. Along with this, innocent Islamic scholars, bearded men and religious people were also arrested and put in jails.

Jamaat-e-Islami leader remembers former leaders

After this, he remembered former leader Motiur rahman Nizami along with ali Ahsan Mujahid, Qamaruzzaman, Abdul Kader Mollah and Mir Qasim ali and said that they were killed for political gain. Apart from this, many other prominent leaders were put in jail under false charges and were left to die there.
