Bollywood actress preity zinta is all set to return to the screen with Sunny Deol's film Lahore 1947. Recently, the actress ran an AskMeSession on X in which fans asked her various questions. During this, a fan questioned Preity about her plans to join politics. The actress answered this and told that she is getting offers from many political parties.
Will preity zinta join politics?
During AskMeSession, a fan asked preity zinta - 'Dear Preity, you are really a soldier, salute to you. Just want to know if there is any plan to join politics? To this, the actress replied - No! No politics for me. In the last few years, many political parties have offered me tickets and rajya sabha seats, but I have politely refused because this is not what I want.'
'Calling me a soldier is not completely wrong'
preity zinta further wrote- 'Calling me a soldier is not completely wrong because I am a soldier's daughter and a soldier's sister. We army children and army children are made differently. We are not North indians or South indians or Himachalis or Bengalis. We are just indians and yes patriotism and national pride are in our blood.'
