CM Dhami surveyed the avalanche affected areas!

Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the avalanche-affected areas in Mana on the Chamoli-Badrinath Highway and conducted an aerial survey of the accident sites. In this accident, 57 workers were buried in the snow, out of which 47 workers have been rescued safely. Rescue operations are being carried out to evacuate the rest of the people. During this, cm Dhami spoke to the officials engaged in the rescue and took information about the relief operation.

cm Pushkar Singh Dhami reached joshimath today where he took stock of the rescue operation and spoke to the officials. cm Dhami met the injured BRO workers who were rescued from the Mana avalanche site and are being brought to joshimath for treatment at the army Hospital. So far, out of a total of 55 people trapped in the snow, 47 have been rescued. Rescue and relief operations are still going on.

cm Dhami took information about the rescue operation

The chief minister said about the rescue operation that "Everyone is being rescued. army, NDRF, ITBP, district Administration, Disaster Administration, all are engaged in rescue work. There has been a lot of snowfall here. All the routes are closed. In some places, there is more than ten to twelve feet of snowfall. Our constant effort is that the people who are living will be evacuated as soon as possible. cm Dhami said that 14 people have been evacuated. All of them are being rescued and brought to Joshimath. All people are safe.

During this, cm Dhami met the army personnel and officers engaged in the rescue operation and took information about the rescue and relief operation. On this matter, Disaster Management Secretary vinod kumar Suman said that the rescue work is very challenging, as there is about seven feet of snow in the avalanche area. Despite this, more than 65 rescue workers are engaged in the operation. Due to bad weather, there is a lot of difficulty in the rescue.
