Chief minister yogi Adityanath, while meeting with officials in lucknow, has given strict instructions regarding liquor shops before Holi. cm yogi said that there should be no liquor shops on the side of expressways and highways. The signage of liquor shops should be reduced. cm Yogi, while chairing the meeting of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Safety Council in lucknow today on sunday (2 February), has given necessary guidelines to effectively curb road accidents in the state. cm yogi has said that all the concerned departments related to road safety should control road accidents by making mutual coordination and collective efforts. Necessary steps should be taken by marking black spots on all the routes of the state.

At the same time, in this meeting, cm yogi said that buses without permits should not be allowed to run on the roads. Take effective action against illegal vehicles and overloaded trucks. Stop vehicles without permit coming from other states at the border, establish communication with the Transport Association and Vehicle Association and ensure that there are two drivers on long distance vehicles.

The number of patrolling vehicles and ambulances should be increased

cm yogi said that the number of cranes, patrolling vehicles and ambulances should be increased on expressways and highways. Install cameras on NHAI roads in the state and mark the places and construct foot overbridges. Road safety related signage must be installed on all major routes of the state. While holding a meeting in the presence of UP DGP, cm yogi said that there is sufficient manpower available in the state for smooth traffic movement. If required, improve traffic management by training the civil police, PRD and home Guards personnel. Table top speed breakers should be constructed outside hospitals, schools and main markets.
