The process of allocating houses to delhi cm accelerated!

After the formation of the new government in delhi, the Public Works Department (PWD) has now accelerated the process of allocating houses for the chief minister and ministers. The PWD department's preparation regarding where cm Rekha Gupta and other ministers of the delhi government will stay is in the final stage. If PWD officials are to be believed, three-four bungalows have been shortlisted for the new CM. The new cm will stay in one of these bungalows.

delhi cm Rekha Gupta has not yet agreed to any bungalow. If PWD officials are to be believed, government houses will soon be allotted to the new cm and ministers. In fact, the Public Works Department has some bungalows in Civil Lines near raj Niwas. There is one bungalow each near the bjp headquarters on Daryaganj and DDU Marg. These bungalows include bungalow number two in raj Niwas Lane and bungalow number 115 on Ansari Road in Daryaganj.

According to sources, "The Chief Minister's future residence can be in any other bungalow near Civil Lines or in Lutyens delhi, which has been exchanged from the Central Pool." It is being told that while finalizing the Chief Minister's residence, its proximity to the delhi Secretariat, Vidhan Sabha and raj Niwas will be kept in mind.

The bjp has said that the chief minister will not live in the bungalow at 6, Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines, which was termed as "Sheesh Mahal" by the party due to alleged irregularities and corruption in the reconstruction and expensive items in it.

In fact, aam aadmi party (AAP) convenor arvind kejriwal lived in this bungalow as the chief minister of delhi from 2015 to september 2024. He vacated this bungalow after resigning from the post of Chief Minister. Sources said that the PWD will have to arrange eight other residences for the six members of the new Council of Ministers as well as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Ministers of the AAP led government used to live in the Civil Lines bungalow.
