

These vehicles will not get petrol and diesel from april 1!
Now petrol and diesel vehicles older than 15 years and diesel vehicles older than 10 years will not get petrol and diesel in Delhi. Delhi's Environment minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa made a big announcement and said that strictness will be implemented from april 1. As has been seen continuously for the last few years that with the onset of winter, the air of delhi becomes stifling. But, to avoid such a situation this year, the delhi government has already started preparations for the Summer Action Plan and in this connection, Environment minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has held a meeting with senior officials related to the environment including Environment Department, MCD, Transport Department, Divisional Commissioner, PWD Department, delhi Cantonment Board on saturday (March 1).
11,000 buses will run on the roads of Delhi
The government claims that by 2026, a total of 11,000 buses including 8,000 electric buses will be run in delhi, which will strengthen public transport and reduce pollution.
These vehicles will not get fuel
Apart from this, it was also decided in the meeting that a pilot project under the 'Aveg System' will be installed at 500 fuel pumps in delhi by the end of March. Under which, vehicles that have crossed their expiry date will be identified through cameras at these fuel pumps, that is, petrol vehicles above 15 years and diesel vehicles above 10 years will be identified and they will not be given fuel and such vehicles will be sent to scrap.
To identify these vehicles, cameras will be installed at all petrol pumps by march 31, so that strict monitoring can be done on them from april 1.
Solutions will be decided based on the causes of pollution
In an exclusive conversation with ABP news after the meeting, Sirsa also said that there are many factors of pollution in delhi according to which solutions will be found. For example, if there is a construction site, then they will have to install smog guns etc. to reduce their pollution. Apart from this, there is also pollution caused by vehicles. The supreme court guidelines are that petrol older than 15 years and diesel older than 10 years cannot be used in Delhi. This should be strictly followed. Apart from this, let us tell you that cloud seeding was also discussed in the meeting. minister Sirsa has also instructed the officials to do an in-depth study about cloud seeding so that the necessary permission for cloud seeding can be taken from the central government officials in time.
