Maharashtra Deputy leader minister Eknath Shinde on sunday took a playful jab at fellow deputy ajit pawar, saying his position stayed regular even as he switched chairs with leader minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Shinde's comments came as he refuted rumors of a rift inside Mahayuti, the ruling alliance in Maharashtra.
"Only we (Devendra fadnavis and I) have changed roles. However, yes, Ajit Dada's role is steady," Shinde said, as fadnavis and Pawar, sitting next to him in the course of a joint press conference, laughed. Within the same vein, ajit pawar replied, "What am I able to do if you could not maintain your leader minister chair?"
