The central government and the state government are continuously working to promote women empowerment and participation of women in the society. In this sequence, the government is running many schemes and campaigns regarding daughters and women. To give concrete shape to this scheme of the government and before World Women's Day, firozabad district Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan has presented the Tundla tehsil of the district as an example of women empowerment.
The command of Tundla tehsil of firozabad is in the hands of women. Here the Deputy district Magistrate, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar have been made women. district Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan has appointed PCS officer Anuradha Singh of 2022 as the Deputy district Magistrate of Tundla. As soon as Anuradha Singh took charge as the Deputy district Magistrate, Tundla tehsil of firozabad has become pink Tehsil.
Tundla's command in the hands of a female trio
Rakhi Sharma of 2016 batch is posted as Tehsildar in Tundla Tehsil and Sarita of 2017 batch is working as Naib Tehsildar. The trio of women in Tundla Tehsil is a topic of discussion at the moment. Four out of 22 female Lekhpals are also working in this tehsil. Jyoti Pathak is also posted as ABSA in the Basic education Department. Parul Mishra, a female inspector, is posted in Pachokhara police station of Tundla Circle.
'Resolving public problems is a priority'
Anuradha Singh, who is in charge of the Deputy district Magistrate, said that her objective is to resolve public problems. She further said that her objective is that no complainant should reach the district headquarters disappointed from the tehsil and the complainant's problem can be resolved here.
Tahsildar Rakhi Sharma of the district's pink Tehsil says that her priority is to discharge the responsibility entrusted to her with full honesty and integrity. Also, it is to prove that daughters are no less than sons. The deployment of women officers in Tundla tehsil of firozabad shows that the dreams of rights and participation of half the population are now being fulfilled.
