Jitendra Awhad came out wearing handcuffs to register his protest against the deportation of illegal immigrants from America. Jitendra Awhad further said, "Freedom of expression is being attacked. Those who speak are prosecuted. Freedom of expression is our right. indians are being brought from America in an unjust manner. If we do not speak against these chains, America will swallow us."

He further said, "I do not think the government will put dhananjay Munde in chains, but I said earlier that he has not committed the murder. Valmik Karad is the mastermind of Santosh Deshmukh's murder and he is dhananjay Munde's special man. Nathuram Godse killed Gandhiji, but whose idea was this? The idea behind it is important."
