Hindu students said that the prime minister of the country narendra modi had described AMU as mini India in his address. Despite this, the AMU administration is adopting a policy of discrimination against Hindu students. In such a situation, Hindu students have no objection to religious events of any religion. Apart from organizing Roza Iftar party and Chehlum in the hall of AMU campus, Tazias are also taken out. The Hindu students have warned that if permission is not granted for holi Milan Samaroh, then they will bring the entire matter to the notice of prime minister Narendra Modi.

AMU Masters student akhil Kaushal told that on 25 february 2025, Hindu students had submitted a letter to the AMU Vice Chancellor through the AMU Proctor and sought permission to organize holi Milan Samaroh in the NRSC Club of AMU on 9 march 2025. Regarding this, the Vice Chancellor of AMU had called a high level meeting of many Deans including professors. In this regard, when the Hindu students met Proctor Wasim ali again on 3 march 2025, they were told that it was decided in the meeting that Hindu students will not be allowed to organize holi Milan Samaroh in AMU.
The student said that he came to know from some media platforms that AMU Proctor Wasim ali is retracting his statement and is also refusing to give a written reply in this matter. However, he has the audio and video of the discussion held in the meeting. In the audio and video, he is clearly seen saying that a letter was given by Hindu students regarding the organization of holi Milan function on 9 march 2025 in the NRC Club of AMU. The AMU Intezamia administration took cognizance of the letter and refused to give permission.
