Signs of cabinet expansion in uttarakhand, 4 posts vacant!
Political stir has intensified regarding cabinet expansion in Uttarakhand. Four ministerial posts are vacant in the cabinet of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, on which there is constant speculation about the appointment. These speculations got further strength when the news came that the bjp state organization has submitted its report on this issue to the party high command. Now all eyes are on the proposed Uttarkashi visit of prime minister Narendra Modi on march 6. It is believed that after his visit, a final decision can be taken regarding the cabinet expansion.
The uttarakhand government has a total capacity of 12 ministers, in which 8 ministers including the chief minister are currently working. That is, four posts are still vacant. Of these, three posts have been vacant since the formation of the government, while the fourth post was vacant after the death of a minister. Now that the 2024 lok sabha elections are near, along with filling these vacant posts, there are also possibilities of reshuffling the responsibilities of some existing ministers.
The bjp central leadership will take the final decision on the cabinet expansion
The bjp state leadership has recently sent a report to the party high command regarding the cabinet expansion. This report has been prepared after intense brainstorming at the state organization level. In this report, possible names have also been suggested keeping in mind the balance of the organization and the government. However, the final decision has to be taken by the bjp central leadership.
bjp state president Mahendra Bhatt hinted on this subject and said that the cabinet expansion can happen anytime. He clarified that the chief minister and the state leadership have sent their report and now the final decision on this has to be taken by the bjp high command. Who will be made a minister and who will be removed, it is completely dependent on the discretion of the Center.
