The indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, which is 2.4 degrees below normal, while the minimum temperature was 11.8 degrees Celsius.
Strong winds also blew in the national capital on tuesday (March 4) and the day temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, which was 0.1 degrees higher than the normal temperature of this season. According to the IMD, the maximum temperature in delhi on tuesday was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, 0.1 degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature was 15.6 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has predicted strong winds from the northwest direction on thursday (March 06) and the wind speed is likely to be 14-18 kmph in the morning. Giving information, the IMD said that after this the wind speed is expected to gradually decrease, and by noon the wind speed from the northwest direction is expected to be between 12 to 14 kmph.

'Skymet' said that the wind speed will decrease from friday (March 07), when the temperature will start increasing gradually. The IMD said that the maximum and minimum temperatures in delhi on thursday are expected to be around 29 and 13 degrees Celsius respectively.

Earlier on tuesday (March 4), the air Quality Index (AQI) in delhi was recorded at 148, which falls in the 'moderate' category.
AQI between zero to 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 is satisfactory, 101 to 200 is moderate, 201 to 300 is poor, 301 to 400 is very poor and 401 to 500 is considered severe.
