Amidst the aurangzeb controversy, advocate said - keep this in mind...
Politics is intensifying in maharashtra over the controversial remarks on Veer Sambhaji Maharaj and the praise of Aurangzeb. The political temperature in maharashtra is high since the controversial statements made by Samajwadi party MLAs Abu Azmi, rahul Solapurkar and prashant Koratkar. Now bombay high court advocate Dr. Syed Ejaz abbas Naqvi has given a big statement. Syed Ejaz Naqvi said, "The personality of Sambhaji Maharaj is not only associated with a class, but the entire indian culture is associated with him as a hero. For a long time, folk culture has also seen Sambhaji Maharaj as a victim of tyranny.
Advocate Ejaz Naqvi said, "In such a situation, of course, disrespecting this sentiment of the majority community is a crime under indian laws. While speaking on such issues, it is necessary to keep in mind that the death of Sambhaji Maharaj was extremely cruel. Therefore, registration of crime for creating communal hatred is justified.”
Demand to send Abu Azmi to jail
It is worth noting that Samajwadi party MLA Abu Azmi was suspended from the house for praising Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. However, the matter has not been settled yet. After deputy cm and shiv sena chief Eknath Shinde, now the leaders of shiv sena UBT are also attacking Abu Azmi. Recently, aditya thackeray has given a statement against Abu Azmi and said that those who insult Sambhaji Maharaj should be put in jail.
Apart from this, the demand for action against rahul Solapurkar and prashant Koratkar is also increasing. Solapurkar had given a controversial statement claiming that Sambhaji Maharaj had 'bribed' Aurangzeb's chieftains and wife in agra, while it is said that in 1666, shivaji Maharaj and his son Sambhaji Maharaj escaped from the agra Fort and surprised the Mughal emperor.
