Aditya Thackeray attacked CM Devendra Fadnavis...

Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi has been suspended from the Maharashtra Assembly for praising Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. Despite this, the matter has not been settled yet. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena UBT leader Aditya Thackeray has reacted to this entire incident. He said that those who have insulted Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj should definitely be put in jail.

Aditya Thackeray said, "Only rhetoric is going on in Maharashtra. Those who have insulted Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj should definitely be put in jail. Be it Kortakar or Solapurkar, put them in jail. Abu Azmi has been brought out to save Solapurkar and Kortakar. But will those who have insulted Marathi raise their voice against Bhaiyyaji Joshi? Who will put them in jail? Will Fadnavis take action on this."

What did Abu Azmi say?

Actually, SP leader Abu Azmi had said that I do not consider Aurangzeb a cruel ruler. The power struggles of that era were political, not religious. There were many Hindus in Aurangzeb's army, just like there were many Muslims in Chhatrapati Shivaji's army. Aurangzeb was not a cruel ruler and he built many temples. Those who claim that there was a fight between Hindus and Muslims between Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Aurangzeb, they are lying.

After this controversy, Abu Azmi also apologized for his statement. Abu Azmi clarified and said that I cannot even think of speaking against Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sambhaji Maharaj, I am not that big, my words have been twisted. I have said the same thing about Aurangzeb Rahmatullah Alih that historians and writers have said.
