Norway's investment in india is increasing

May-Elin Steiner also said that Norway's investment in india has seen a tremendous jump. Fund investment has increased threefold since 2020. Direct investment has also increased rapidly after the trade and economic partnership agreement last year. He informed that in the last decade, Norwegian companies in india have also doubled to more than 100 and this number is increasing continuously. Trade between india and norway has also doubled since 2018.

No threat of trade war between india and Norway

norway has the world's largest sovereign wealth fund, mentioning this, May-Elin Steiner said that the country has decided to spend it for financial security for future generations. Steiner also said that given the current growth rate, investment in india is likely to continue to grow. He said, india has a good relationship with norway so there is no possibility of a trade war. Investment is only going to increase.
