CM yogi inaugurated Sharda Care-Health City!

chief minister yogi Adityanath inaugurated 'Sharda Care-Health City' in Greater noida today on saturday (March 8). During this, he said that the government has taken many important steps to promote investment in the health sector. Describing gautam Buddha nagar as an emerging hub of health tourism, he said that in the coming time this area will attract people from the country and abroad for health services.

The chief minister said that along with good education, a strong health system is also necessary for a developed society. Appreciating the contribution of the private sector, he said that this project of Sharda Group is a great example of service and investment.

cm yogi said that in the last 8 years, there has been tremendous improvement in health facilities in Uttar Pradesh. He told that while there were only 12 medical colleges in UP till 2017. Now 40 new medical colleges have been built in the state. Along with this, 37 private medical colleges and 3 medical colleges (Maharajganj, Sambhal, Shamli) have also been opened under the PPP model. He told that two AIIMS (Gorakhpur and Rae Bareli) and BHU's Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) already exist in UP. Apart from this, facilities like CT scan, MRI and dialysis are being provided in every district. The government is constantly making efforts to improve health facilities in villages as well.

health infrastructure has been strengthened

cm yogi told that the number of doctors and technical staff is being increased to strengthen health services in rural areas. He said that every sunday 'Mukhyamantri Arogya Mela' is organized at primary health centers across the state, where free treatment and medicines are given. cm yogi Adityanath told that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, more than 10 crore people have been given 'Golden Cards' in UP. Due to which they are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Apart from this, Asha workers, ANM, home Guard, PRD jawan and watchmen will also be given the benefit of this scheme.
