The rajasthan cabinet has approved a bill to regulate the coaching institutes of the state and provide a safe and friendly environment to the students. Officials gave this information on Saturday. Officials said that the draft of 'Rajasthan Coaching Center (Control and Regulation) Bill-2025' was prepared after the guidelines issued by the Central government, the specific needs of the state and discussions with various stakeholders. Coaching institutes with 50 or more students in the state will come under legal scrutiny.

Parliamentary Affairs minister Jogaram patel said that a state-level portal will be set up to ensure transparency in the management of coaching institutes and a helpline number for 'counselling' of students and rajasthan Coaching Institute (Control and Regulation) Authority will be established.

The cabinet also approved the state's skill development policy which aims to train youth in special skills to meet the demands of industrial sectors. This policy will help in the industrial development of the state and prepare the youth for global competition. He said industrial training institutes will be modernised and made compatible with the latest industry requirements.

To further strengthen the skill training infrastructure, 'Model Career' centres will be set up in all divisional headquarters, which will provide information on career counselling, internships and employment opportunities. The minister said training in modern technologies such as AI, machine learning, smart manufacturing and cyber security will be provided under the policy.

"Training centres will be set up in local industrial sites and training curriculum will be designed to meet the specific requirements of these industries," he said. patel highlighted that the policy will focus on skill upgradation programmes, which will ensure that workers are able to adapt to the changing industrial environment.

The cabinet also approved the Equal Opportunity Policy for Persons with Disabilities, which is in line with the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act. The policy will be implemented in all government departments, autonomous bodies and institutions under the control of the state government. He said, "This policy ensures barrier-free access to government offices and provides necessary facilities to Divyang employees to perform their duties effectively."
