

Aged On Pilgrimage To varanasi, Ayodhya
Berhampur: 800 elderly people from odisha left for ayodhya and varanasi in UP on a special train Saturday for a country-sponsored pilgrimage.
Deputy chief minister Pravati Parida flagged off the train at the Berhampur station. A few of the pilgrims are 443 human beings from Ganjam, 119 from Nayagarh, fifty-five from Boudh, seventy-two from Gajapati, and eighty-six from Kandhamal district.
Twenty-five authorities officers are accompanying them. After traveling to temples and mutts in these towns, the pilgrims will return to Berhampur on march thirteen. It was the second such edict to go away from Berhampur this year underneath the state's Baristha Nagarika Tirtha yatra Yojana. '
The primary teacher took any other 800 pilgrims to Shirdi and Nashik in maharashtra in January. A total of 8,000 aged human beings belonging to economically deprived sections could be sent on pilgrimage to Nashik, Shirdi, ayodhya, varanasi, Kamakhya, and Dakhineswar underneath the scheme, officers stated.
The unique trains are operating from Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Rayagada, Sambalpur, and Balasore, they stated. Besides arranging meals and accommodations, the government is also engaging doctors and nurses to look after the elderly individuals for the duration of their adventure.
