MNS chief raj Thackeray mocked those who bathe in Amrit in Kumbh mela and said that I will not touch the dirty water of that ganga where crores of people have bathed. He said, "Bala Nandgaonkar brought water from there, I said I will not drink it."
'How can the water be clean after so many people bathing'
He raised the question that "If people went to bathe in Prayagraj ganga to atone for their sins, can they really be free from their sins?" raj Thackeray also said during this time that if so many people have bathed in the water of ganga, then this water cannot be clean. Linking this issue to the cleaning of ganga, raj Thackeray said that this issue is about cleaning the water of the river. He said that now you must have understood the difference between faith and superstition.
Sarcasm on ganga pollution
raj Thackeray made a sarcastic remark on ganga pollution and said, "No river in our country is clean, yet we consider these rivers as mother. Rivers are clean in foreign countries, but rivers are not considered as mother there. In our country, people bathe in rivers, wash clothes and do whatever they want.
