Malhar certification in Maharashtra: maharashtra minister Nitish Rane on monday launched a brand new portal to check in all jhatka mutton stores across the kingdom underneath a newly launched initiative, "Malhar Certification.".
Rane asserted that the certification might be furnished completely to the Hindu network.

Pronouncing the initiative, the maharashtra fisheries minister entreated Hindus to no longer buy mutton from shops that don't have Malhar certification.
"I am attracted to you to use Malhar certification as much as possible, and in fact, no longer buy mutton from locations wherein Malhar certification is not to be had. Those efforts will simply make the kids of the Hindu community financially empowered," Rane said.
Halal Mutton vs. Jhatka Mutton
The Malhar certification is similar to the existing halal certification in India, wherein meat is ready according to Sharia or Islamic law. islam stipulates that an animal is to be sacrificed in a certain way before it can be fed on by participants of the community.
Opposite to the halal manner of slaughter, jhatka meat is ready after killing the animal in a painless manner with an unmarried blow.
