Was there a hole in the taj mahal due to water leakage? 

On Monday, in the Lok Sabha, the government accepted that an incident of water leakage came to the fore in the taj mahal during the rains and assured that it is sensitive towards the preservation of historical heritage. The government is taking many important steps for the preservation of historical heritage.

Union culture minister gajendra singh shekhawat said this in response to a question by AIMIM mp Asaduddin Owaisi during the Question Hour, "As far as the maintenance of the taj mahal is concerned, it is true that an incident of water leakage came to the fore. Due to continuous rain, a hole has been created in the dome of the taj mahal due to water leakage. The government should fix it.

He said that 'The government of india is completely sensitive and is working for the preservation of historical heritage. The government is working for development while respecting the heritage with commitment.' In response to another question, the minister said that before the Modi government in the country, some people used to get some privileges 'on the basis of worship system or vote bank strength', which have ended after coming under the category of equality. He said that the Modi government works as 'Team India' by taking everyone along and with the idea of cooperative federalism. Owaisi, while asking a supplementary question, alleged that, 'For the last 50 years, the Archaeological survey of india (ASI) has been working to advance the ideology of Hindutva. What steps will the government take to 'detoxify' the ASI. Will the government ensure that the ASI works with the principle of secularism and pluralism of the Constitution?'
