In the suggestions given by Nazia Danish regarding the MCD budget in the MCD house, it has been said about the property tax department that the property tax department is the main source of income of the corporation. The estimated budget has been kept at Rs 4300 crore, which has been revised to Rs 3100 crore in 2025 and 26, while the estimated budget for the year 2025-26 is Rs 4000 crore. Raising questions on this, she told the house that what plan has been prepared for the budget of Rs. 4000 crores. She said that the figures and facts presented were wrong.

Questions raised on house tax

While giving suggestions during the budget speech, she raised questions to the Mayor and said that the house tax for those having less than 100 yards has been waived, for 100 to 500 yards it has been halved, so from where and how will the target of Rs. 4000 crores set by the commission be achieved? According to her, as per this plan and announcement, the income of property tax will be half of the original amount. She said that in this way the budget of the corporation itself is wrong.

Confirmation of 12000 employees

In the suggestions given regarding the budget of MCD, 12000 employees were also mentioned. These are the employees whose demand and discussion for permanent employment has been going on in the MCD for a very long time, regarding which many questions were raised by Nazia. He has said that 'In the present circumstances, the biggest welfare of the employees lies in the fact that they get their salary on time and their dues are paid immediately. The retiring employees should be paid their final benefits on the day of retirement itself. The employees of various categories employed on daily wages and on contract should be regularized immediately.'
