

Charges framed against 11 people in Jamia nagar violence case!
In the case of violence in Jamia nagar area of delhi in the year 2019, Delhi's Saket court has framed charges against 11 people including Sharjeel Imam. Saket court has also acquitted 15 people in the case.
Saket court did not frame charges against anyone in the case registered under Section 25/27 of the Arms Act. The court framed charges against Sharjeel Imam under Section 109 of IPC, 120B IPC, 153A,143/147/148/149/186/353/332/333/308/427/435/323/341 and Section 3/4 of the Public Property Damage Prevention Act. Saket court has framed charges against Ashu Khan, Chandan Kumar and Asif Iqbal Tanha under Section 109 of IPC, Section 120B of IPC, 143/147/148/149/186/353/332/333/308/427/435/323/341 and Section 3/4 of Public Property Damage Prevention Act.
These people were acquitted
Saket court has acquitted Mohammad Adil, Ruhul Amin, Mohammad Jamal, Mohammad Umar, Mohammad Shahil, Mudassir Faheem Hasmi, Mohammad Imran, Saqib Khan, Tanjil ahmed Chaudhary, Mohd. Imran, Munib Mian, Saif Siddiqui, Shahnawaz and Mohd. Yusuf from the case.
'Master of conspiracy to incite violence'
The court, while framing charges against Sharjeel Imam, said that people of all communities were suffering due to the Chakka Jam. The court said that Sharjeel Imam instigated people of only one community for the Chakka Jam. Sharjeel was not only the instigator, but he was also the mastermind of a big conspiracy to incite violence. The court further said that Sharjeel openly created a feeling of anger and hatred in the mind of a community. Sharjeel Imam instigated large-scale disruption in many states of North India.
Defense's argument rejected
The Saket court rejected Sharjeel Imam's argument in favor of his defense and said that the argument of such a person cannot be heard that the riot caused by the mob on public roads was not the result of his speech and he cannot be held criminally liable for this.
