Rekha Gupta government became strict against drug abuse!

chief minister rekha Gupta has taken strict steps to stop the increasing trend of drug abuse in Delhi. delhi bjp President Virendra Sachdeva said that the chief minister has not only instructed the Excise Department to take strict action, but has also got a police SHO and a policeman suspended by running a public awareness campaign in her constituency. Virendra Sachdeva alleged that during the arvind kejriwal government, the Excise Department did not take any action against drug dealers. He said, "In the kejriwal regime, a policy was made to promote the sale of liquor, in which one bottle was given free with one bottle. This increased drug addiction among the youth."

The delhi bjp President said, "The previous government had thousands of officers and employees in the Excise Department, but in 10 years, not a single action was taken against a drug smuggler. The sale of illegal liquor and drugs continued in delhi, but the Excise Department did not conduct any raid. Rave parties kept happening in delhi, but the kejriwal government did not take any strict action during that time."

bjp leader Sachdeva further said that chief minister rekha Gupta's government is fully committed to ending drug abuse. He said that the government has instructed the Excise Department to run a special campaign to stop the sale of illegal liquor and drugs. He said, "The chief minister himself ran an awareness campaign in his assembly constituency and took a tough stand against drug abuse. Due to this, an SHO and a policeman were suspended."

Need for drug-free campaign in delhi - Virendra Sachdeva

Virendra Sachdeva said that drug abuse is a social curse, which is ruining the future of the youth. He appealed to the public, social organizations and public representatives to run a joint campaign against drug abuse. He said, "The bjp government is working on a zero tolerance policy against drug abuse. We are fully committed to make delhi drug-free." The delhi government will now intensify action against illegal liquor, drugs and drug dens. The government has also appealed to the public that if they see drug trade going on anywhere, they should immediately inform.
