'We have not committed any crime', said Rabri Devi!

Rouse Avenue court on tuesday gave a big relief in the ongoing case against former bihar CM Lalu Yadav and his family. Tej Pratap Yadav, hema Yadav and other accused were granted bail in the land for job scam case. These people appeared in the court after the summons were issued. Special Judge vishal Gogane has granted bail to the accused on personal bond of Rs 50,000 each.

Rabri Devi targeted the central and state government

After getting bail, former bihar Chief minister and RJD leader Rabri Devi said that whenever elections are about to come, the central and state government deliberately start harassing us. Whatever the court says, we will agree. In fact, on 7 june 2024, the cbi filed a final chargesheet against Lalu prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Misa Bharti, hema Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav along with 77 other accused in the land for job case.

Chargesheet against Lalu Yadav and 77 other accused

While on 29 May 2024, the court had directed the cbi to file a final chargesheet in the land for job case, the court had also expressed displeasure over not filing the final chargesheet despite being given time. The court took cognizance of all three chargesheets including the final chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The final chargesheet has been filed against former Railway minister Lalu prasad Yadav and 77 other accused. The accused in the chargesheet include 30 government employees and 38 candidates.

Let us tell you that on 18 May 2022, the cbi had registered a case against Lalu prasad Yadav, his wife, two daughters and unknown government officials and some private persons. So far, approval has been given against 30 accused in this case. In this charge sheet, it was told that between 2004 and 2009, while being the Railway minister in the UPA government at the Centre, Lalu prasad Yadav got the land registered in the name of people and got the property transferred in order to give them Grade Four i.e. lower level jobs.
