CM devendra fadnavis strict about loudspeakers...
Politics has intensified in maharashtra over the sound produced by loudspeakers in religious places. Now chief minister devendra fadnavis is also taking strict action regarding this. cm fadnavis has said, "According to the rules of the supreme Court, permission should be taken for the use of horns at places of worship as per the rules. It should be kept off from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am."
cm devendra fadnavis further said, "The sound of these loudspeakers should be 55 decibels during the day and 45 decibels from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am. If the sound of the loudspeaker is not according to this decibel, then action will be taken as per the rules given by the central government to the maharashtra Pollution Control Board."
'No one allowed to use loudspeakers'- Devendra Fadnavis
The chief minister said, "If action is not taken, the government will take action against the PI. At present, we are not seeing the implementation of the rules issued by the central government and the maharashtra Pollution Control Board. We have issued a rule that no one will be allowed to use loudspeakers."
Permission will not be given again at these places
Permission to play loudspeakers will be given only for a certain period and after that the permission will be cancelled. Permission will not be given again at such places where loudspeakers are not played at the level of 55 decibels and 45 decibels. In such a case, the loudspeakers will be confiscated and legal action will be taken.
Decibel meters at every police station
cm devendra fadnavis said that it will be the responsibility of the concerned head inspector to ensure strict compliance of the rules. Every place of worship should be visited and it should be seen whether these speakers are within the decibel limit or not. Decibel meters have been provided to every police station. If the noise is high as per the decibel meter, then first inform maharashtra Pollution Control Board and take further action.
