Finance minister ajit pawar made this announcement!

Finance minister ajit pawar presented the budget for the financial year 2025-26. The budget focuses on agriculture, road projects, transport, industry, youth and women. ajit pawar has made a provision of Rs 36 thousand crore for the chief minister Ladki Behan Yojana. Earlier this budget was Rs 23 thousand 232 crore.

1. Road construction

A target of 1500 km road construction has been set by 2025-26. Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase-3, 6,500 km long works costing Rs 5,670 crore have been approved, out of which 3,785 km long works have been completed.

2. Growth hub

It has been decided to develop the mumbai Metropolitan Region as an international level economic development center i.e. growth hub. international standard business centres will be built at seven locations - Bandra-Kurla Complex, Kurla-Worli, Wadala, Goregaon, Navi mumbai, kharghar and Virar-Boisar.

3. Youth

An innovation city will be set up in Navi mumbai on an area of 250 acres to provide employment opportunities to the new generation and make the state a leader in innovation.

4. Ports

For the year 2025-26, an allocation of Rs 484 crore has been made for the Ports Department, Rs 19,936 crore for the Public Works-Roads Department, Rs 3,610 crore for the Transport Department, Rs 10,629 crore for the Urban Development Department and Rs 11,480 crore for the Rural Development Department.

5. Agriculture

The second phase of Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjivani Project is being implemented in 7,210 villages of 21 districts and an outlay of Rs 351 crore 42 lakh has been proposed for this project in the year 2025-26. Under the National Natural Farming Mission of the Central Government, a fund of Rs 255 crore will be provided to 2 lakh 13 thousand 625 beneficiary farmers for the next two years.
