Speaker Vijender Gupta welcomed the delegation of students. students from Ladakh had come under the initiative of akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad "SERU". The aim of ABVP's initiative was to introduce students to the cultural unity of India. Speaker Vijender Gupta addressed the students and shared his experience of student life. He told that during his studies, he had been an elected representative of delhi University students Union.

He told that work has started on the plan to make the assembly a national heritage. The Speaker told that many freedom fighters were crucified in the hanging house located in the assembly premises.
