Gang war conspiracy foiled in Delhi, shooter arrested!
On march 14, the Special Cell foiled the conspiracy of another bloody game in the capital Delhi. The police have arrested notorious criminal deepak alias Rohit Mundlana, who was planning to take revenge in the gang war, with weapons. This criminal was a member of the naveen Bali-Himanshu Bhau gang and was given the task of killing a member of the Gogi gang. According to DCP Special Cell, the Special Cell was constantly monitoring the activities of criminals to stop the increasing crime and gang war in Delhi-NCR. During this time, information was received that the naveen Bali-Himanshu Bhau gang was plotting to kill a member of the Gogi gang.
How was the criminal caught?
This murder was to be done to avenge the murder of Tillu Tajpuria. Based on this information, the Northern Range team of the Special Cell started keeping a close watch on the activities of the criminals. Information was received that a shooter was going to meet his partner in Japanese Park, Rohini, so that the area could be recced before the murder. On receiving the information, the Special Cell team laid a trap in Japanese Park, Sector-12, Rohini. As soon as the suspect reached the spot, the police arrested him. On searching, two pistols and four live cartridges were recovered from him.
The arrested criminal was identified as Rohit Lathwal alias deepak Mundlana (age 19 years, resident of Sonipat, Haryana). During interrogation, he revealed that he worked for the naveen Bali-Himanshu Bhau gang and was ordered to kill a member of the Gogi gang.
How did the criminal come into the world of crime?
The DCP said that the arrested shooter had left his studies in class VIII. He had a quarrelsome nature since childhood. In the year 2022, his parents had a fight with the neighbors, in which he could not help them. This incident shook him from within and filled him with a sense of revenge.
After this, he decided to enter the world of crime. He started following criminals of naveen Bali and Himanshu Bhau gang on social media and came in contact with this gang for the first time in 2023. Gradually he started working for them. 15 days ago he got an order to kill a member of Gogi gang and he was also given weapons.
At present, the Special Cell has registered an FIR in this case and started investigation. The police is now trying to find out who else was involved in this conspiracy and what were the criminals planning to take the gang war forward?
