According to the report of news agency PTI, sharad pawar wrote in a letter addressed to prime minister Narendra Modi that an NGO from pune had planned to install the statues of the three brave Marathas in Talkatora Stadium, but historians and litterateurs believe that it is appropriate to install statues of the heroes riding horses. Only statues of the Marathas riding horses can best depict the valor of the Marathas and their contribution.
At the same time, sharad pawar told that the Talkatora Stadium of delhi comes under the MCD. In such a situation, he has demanded intervention from the prime minister that he should talk to the delhi government and NDMC and instruct to give permission.
